Trump: Iranian Ship in Gulf of Oman Under US Control

Donald Trump announced that an Iranian cargo ship, the TOUSKA, has been brought under US control in the Gulf of Oman. According to Trump, the ship attempted to breach the American naval blockade.

In a statement, Trump said that the destroyer USS Spruance intercepted the TOUSKA. When the crew refused to comply with orders, the American warship caused damage to the engine room, immobilizing the vessel.

"The Iranian crew refused to obey, so our Navy ship stopped it immediately, opening a hole in the engine room," Trump stated.

The ship is under the supervision of US Marines and is under sanctions from the US Treasury Department due to previous involvement in illegal activities.
