J. D. Vance: US Seeks Trump-Putin-Zelensky Meeting

U.S. Senator J. D. Vance stated that the American government is working to arrange a meeting between Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Volodymyr Zelensky, aiming to discuss ending the conflict in Ukraine.
According to J. D. Vance, the U.S. government is trying to overcome Vladimir Putin's initial objections to sitting at the same table with Zelensky.
European allies of Ukraine are pushing for Zelensky's participation in a potential U.S.-Russia summit in Alaska. Zelensky has also called on his European allies to define a common approach.
U.S. Ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, stated that the Ukrainian president's participation in the summit is possible, emphasizing that there can be no agreement without the consent of all parties. The final decision will be made by Donald Trump.
