Vance Accuses Europeans of Duplicity: Concessions in Private, Criticism in Public

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance accused Europeans of duplicity towards the United States in an interview with journalist Megyn Kelly.
Vance stated that "the Europeans, they're so friendly in private and they're willing to make a lot of accommodations and then publicly they attack us and they say, 'We're not going to work with the Americans. We're not going to do anything with the Americans.'"
He also warned that if Iran acquires a nuclear weapon, it will lead to an arms race in the Middle East. "If the Iranians get a nuclear weapon, you know who's going to get a nuclear weapon the next day? The Saudis, and then some other folks in the Arab Gulf states," he noted.
Vance emphasized that "Iran cannot have nuclear weapons" and that President Trump will keep all options open, including military intervention.
