Bolivia: Pas and Quiroga to compete in election's second round

Rodrigo Paz and Jorge "Tuto" Quiroga will compete in the second round of the presidential elections in Bolivia in October, after Sunday's first round. Rodrigo Paz, son of former president Jaime Paz Zamora, received 32.1% of the votes, while former president Jorge Quiroga garnered 26.8%.
Rodrigo Paz, 57, is an economist, senator and former mayor. He promises increased credit availability and tax reform. Jorge Quiroga, 65, is an engineer and former vice president. He proposes privatizations and free trade agreements.
Both candidates are focusing on addressing Bolivia's economic crisis.
