UK Considers Options for Hormuz, Continues Drone Interceptions

The UK is considering options for security in the Strait of Hormuz following a request from Donald Trump. A Ministry of Defence spokesperson stated that various options are being discussed with allies to ensure maritime safety in the region.

Operationally, the MoD announced that British fighter jets are continuing air defense operations to protect British interests and allies in Qatar, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. Multiple drones were shot down by a British drone countermeasures unit following recent strikes against coalition bases.
