UK, Canada, and Australia Recognize Palestinian State

The United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia have announced the official recognition of the Palestinian state.

London views this move as leverage for a permanent solution, with a reformed Palestinian government operating alongside Israel.

Canada offers its cooperation in building a peaceful future for both the State of Palestine and the State of Israel. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Hamas has terrorized the people of Israel and oppresses the people of Gaza.

Australia's Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, stated that Australia recognizes the legitimate expectations of the people of Palestine for their own state. Australia will work with international partners to bring the Middle East closer to peace and security.
