UK Estimates: 500 sq km of Ukrainian Territory Under Russian Control

Units of the Russian ground army likely brought 500-550 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory under their control in July, according to the British Ministry of Defence.
The estimates are based on information from the Defence Intelligence service.
Russia demands that Ukraine cede four regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson) and Crimea, as well as abandon plans to join NATO. Kyiv rejects these demands and calls for the withdrawal of Russian troops and security guarantees from the West.
