UK Sanctions Russians Over Child Abductions from Ukraine

The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on 11 individuals and organizations linked to Russia for their involvement in the abduction of children from Ukraine.
Kyiv has reported that approximately 20,000 children have been transferred to Russia or occupied territories during the war, without the consent of their families. Russian authorities claim their actions were aimed at protecting children from war zones.
British Foreign Secretary David Lamy described the Russian policy of abduction, proselytization, and military education of children from Ukraine as unacceptable.
