Khamenei Calls for Resilience Against Foreign Pressures

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has called on Iranians to show "resilience" against foreign pressures, marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution amid tensions with the US.
Since 1979, he stated, "foreign powers have always sought to restore the previous situation," referring to their influence under Shah Pahlavi. Khamenei emphasized that "the strength of a nation lies in the will and resilience of its people."
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that a "deep distrust" remains between Iran and the US, despite talks in Oman. Araghchi expressed a desire for "specific negotiations," provided the other side demonstrates seriousness.
