Foreign Ministry: Travel advisory for Cambodia and Thailand

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Cypriot citizens to avoid traveling to border areas of Thailand and Cambodia due to ongoing armed conflicts.

Special caution is advised for those already in these areas. Citizens are urged to closely monitor developments through the media and follow the instructions of the authorities.

The Ministry provides contact information for consular authorities in Cambodia, Thailand, and China, as well as relevant services in Cyprus. In emergencies, citizens can contact the Embassy of Cyprus in China, the Honorary Consulate in Phnom Penh, the High Commission in New Delhi, and the Honorary Consulate in Bangkok.

The Ministry encourages citizens to register on the Connect2CY platform for information and support in case of a crisis.
