Zelenskyy: United Europe and US Can Stop Putin

Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined a framework for future cooperation with the US until 2040, focusing on Ukraine's security, reconstruction, and prosperity. The plan includes increasing life expectancy, returning refugees, and raising per capita GDP.
Zelenskyy estimates the reconstruction cost at 700-800 billion euros and mentioned the creation of financial instruments, such as the Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
He reiterated that Russia is responsible for the war and that Ukraine is ready for compromises. He emphasized that the absolute priority is to end hostilities and achieve peace, but support from Europe and the US is required.
Zelenskyy warned that any support for Russia would prolong the conflict. He stressed that there are "red lines" for Ukraine, acknowledging compromise proposals on territorial issues and the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
Finally, he reiterated the importance of security guarantees and European support, as Ukraine needs more air defense systems.
