Zelenskyy: Ukraine Needs Real Peace, Not a Pause Between Russian Invasions

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine needs a real, long-term peace and not just another pause between Russian invasions.

Earlier today, U.S. President Donald Trump advocated for a direct peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine, rather than a simple ceasefire agreement, already provoking reactions in Kyiv.

"Security must be ensured reliably and long-term, with the participation of both Europe and the USA," the Ukrainian president said in a post on X after a telephone conversation with European leaders.

He also stressed that territorial issues can only be resolved with Ukraine.
