Zelenskyy: 'Peace agreement is 90% ready'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the peace agreement to end the war with Russia is '90% ready.' However, he emphasized that the remaining 10% will determine the outcome of peace, the fate of Ukraine and Europe.
In his address, Zelenskyy assured that Ukraine wants an end to the war and is working for peace, but will not accept an agreement at any cost. He insisted that any agreement must include strong security guarantees to prevent a new Russian invasion.
Efforts for a peace agreement take into account the demands of both Moscow and Kyiv, but no consensus has been reached regarding the eastern regions, while the Russian army occupies approximately 19% of Ukrainian territory.
Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks the annexation of Donbas. Zelenskyy reiterated that he does not believe Moscow would stop at Donbas if Ukrainian forces withdrew from the eastern front.
