Twenty-one countries have condemned Israel's approved settlement plan for the West Bank. The Foreign Ministers of these countries, including Canada, Spain, and Italy, issued a joint statement, emphasizing that this decision violates international law and threatens the two-state solution.

Britain summoned the Israeli ambassador to London for explanations. The plan involves the construction of 3,400 homes in the West Bank, which will bisect the area and undermine the creation of a future Palestinian state.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that Italy is following developments with concern and supports peace and international law.

The UN has also condemned Israel's 'Plan E1'. Approximately 3 million Palestinians live in the West Bank, along with approximately 500,000 Israeli settlers. The settlement is considered illegal by the UN.
