Report of Incident Involving Cargo Ship Near Abu Dhabi

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced that it received a report of an incident in the Persian Gulf, approximately 67 kilometers north of Abu Dhabi and southwest of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the captain of a ship, an object fell into the sea and a loud noise was heard near a bulk carrier cargo ship.

UKMTO has not provided further details regarding the cause of the incident, nor has it been disclosed whether there were any damages or injuries.
