West Bank: 24-Year-Old Palestinian Killed by Israeli Fire

A 24-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in the occupied West Bank, near Jericho. The incident occurred on Tuesday, according to Palestinian officials. Israeli forces reportedly opened fire during an operation.

The Palestinian Authority's Health Ministry confirmed the death of Said Nael Al-Sheikh, stating that three other people were injured. The Israeli military claims its forces responded to "terrorists throwing stones."

Violence in the region has escalated since the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023. According to a count, at least 1,033 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces and settlers.
