Hellenic Air Force Delivers 8.5 Tons of Food to Gaza

The Hellenic Air Force conducted an airdrop of 8.5 tons of food supplies to Gaza, as announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis via Facebook.

Two aircraft from the Air Force participated in the operation, which was organized in collaboration with countries of the European Union and the Middle East. The aim was to support the basic needs of the region's residents.

According to a government briefing, the mission took place on Saturday, August 9th, in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defence, and Jordanian authorities.

Two transport aircraft (C-130H and C–27J) and personnel from the Special Warfare Command (ΔΕΠ) participated in the operation. The National Operations Center (ΕΘΚΕΠΙΧ) continuously monitored the progress of the mission.
