Israeli Strikes in Lebanon: One Dead, One Injured

One person was killed and another injured today in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, according to the country's Ministry of Health. The Israeli army reports that it targeted members of Hezbollah.
Israel continues to launch regular strikes on Lebanon, claiming to target the Iranian-backed Islamist movement, despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024.
According to the Ministry of Health, a car and a motorcycle were hit in the town of Yater, about 5 kilometers from the border with Israel. The Israeli army announced that it "hit a Hezbollah terrorist in the Yater zone" and later added that it "hit another Hezbollah terrorist" in the same zone.
In addition, the Lebanese army announced that soldiers discovered and dismantled "an Israeli spy device" in Yaroun, near the border.
US Senator Lindsey Graham accused Hezbollah of rearming during a visit to Israel.
More than 340 people have been killed by Israeli strikes in Lebanon since the ceasefire came into effect, according to a count by the French Agency.
