Three attacks on commercial ships have been reported in the Middle East, raising concerns about maritime security. According to the EOS Risk Group, the ships affected are the Mayuree Naree (flag of Thailand), One Majesty (Japanese containership), and a third ship near Abu Musa, which is under investigation.

The Mayuree Naree was attacked while anchored. Initial reports indicated abandonment, but a security crew remains and the fire has been brought under control. The One Majesty sustained partial hull damage near Ras Al Khaima but remains seaworthy.

According to AIS data analysis, 15 ships crossed the area in less than 24 hours, with 5 providing false information. Four ships are linked to Chinese owners or crew, and four had routes from/to Iran. A sanctioned LPG VLGC vessel was in SOH.

The situation remains unstable, with the international maritime community monitoring developments and increasing security measures.
