UAE: Drone Attack Shuts Down Ruwais Oil Refinery

The largest oil refinery in the United Arab Emirates, located in the Ruwais area, has suspended operations following a drone attack that caused a fire in the industrial zone. According to Bloomberg, Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) is assessing the damage.
The Ruwais refinery can process 922,000 barrels of oil per day. The attack follows similar incidents in the Middle East, including the closure of Saudi Arabia's largest refinery and the suspension of operations at a Qatari liquefied natural gas facility.
ADNOC has not commented on the incident.
