Rumors of Internal Purges in Iran Following Mossad Leaks

Rumors of internal purges in Iran are circulating following suspicions of Mossad infiltration within the Revolutionary Guards. Arab websites report that commander Ismail Qaani may have been executed for collaborating with Mossad, although there is no confirmation from Iranian sources or international media.
Suspicions were heightened after incidents where Qaani escaped meetings shortly before attacks targeting Hezbollah and Iranian regime officials, including Khamenei. Similar past incidents, such as the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in 2020, have been attributed to Mossad and suggest internal support.
In 2018, Mossad agents allegedly stole secret documents from a warehouse in Tehran, further highlighting concerns about leaks. The assassination of officer Hassan Sayyad Khodai in 2022 fueled suspicions of internal intelligence.
If Mossad's infiltration of the Revolutionary Guards is proven, it could trigger a severe crisis of confidence within the Iranian power system.
