Gaza: At Least 35 Killed in Israeli Operations on Sunday

At least 35 people, including children, were killed in Israeli operations in Gaza on Sunday, according to an emergency service. The operations struck, among other locations, the al-Mawasi camp.

Dozens of injured were taken to hospitals, while eyewitnesses reported a large fire in the al-Mawasi camp. According to Mahmoud Bassal, among the victims were two children from the Azam family.

Israel has partially eased the blockade of Gaza, but shortages remain. The UN has condemned the "militarized" aid distribution mechanism.

The Israeli army did not comment on the reports of deaths, while announcing the loss of a 20-year-old non-commissioned officer.

Israeli operations have claimed the lives of at least 56,500 Palestinians, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health.
