Approximately 100 commercial flights departed today from the United Arab Emirates, on the sixth day of the war in the Middle East. According to Cirium, a decrease in flight cancellations is being recorded in the wider region.

The company recorded 87 flight departures from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and 15 from Abu Dhabi. Around 60 aircraft departed from Muscat in Oman. Conversely, no flights took place to or from the airports of Doha (Qatar), Manama (Bahrain), and Kuwait.

Today, 43.4% of flights in the Middle East region were canceled, compared to 61% on Wednesday. Among the aircraft that departed from Dubai were many Airbus A380s of Emirates. Other aircraft arrived from abroad, including from destinations as far away as Los Angeles.

Qatar Airways clarified today that it will operate "limited repatriation routes" for stranded passengers, from Muscat to London, Berlin, and Rome, and from Riyadh to Frankfurt.
