Iran Threatens Retaliation After Attacks on Energy Targets

Iran is threatening retaliation following attacks on energy facilities, including an oil installation in Tehran and a water desalination plant on Qeshm Island. The Revolutionary Guards and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf have warned of reprisals.
Qalibaf stated that Iran is “not seeking a ceasefire” and that the attackers must be punished. He also warned that any country hosting U.S. military bases used for attacks against Iran “will not enjoy peace.”
A spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guards, Khatam al-Anbiya, stated that if raids on energy targets continue, Iran will take similar actions in the Middle East, emphasizing that the attacks have caused civilian deaths.
