Iran: We Will Not Abandon Uranium Enrichment Program

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran will not abandon its uranium enrichment program, despite the damage caused by recent attacks by the US and Israel on nuclear facilities.

In an interview with Fox News, Araghchi acknowledged that the damage is significant, but stressed that uranium enrichment is a matter of national pride and an achievement of Iranian scientists.

Araghchi confirmed that the extent of the damage to nuclear facilities is serious and is being assessed by the country's atomic energy organization. Security experts had expressed concerns that Iran could build nuclear weapons in a matter of days.
