Iran Suspends Cooperation with IAEA, Accuses Grossi

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that his country has suspended cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to him, this decision is a response to the IAEA Director General's 'destructive' behavior towards Iran.

Masoud Pezeshkian made these statements during a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

'The initiative taken by members of Parliament (...) is a natural response to the unjustified, counterproductive and destructive behavior of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency,' he stated.
