Iran Executes Two Members of Opposition Group for Attacks

Iran has executed two members of the outlawed opposition group Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK), according to the judicial source Mizan, for attacks against civilian infrastructure.
Mehdi Hassani and Behrouz Ehsani-Eslamlou, described as "operational personnel" of the MEK, were sentenced to death by the Supreme Court.
The charges included "moharebeh" (war against God), destruction of public property, and membership in a terrorist organization aimed at disrupting national security.
The MEK, also known as the People’s Mujahideen Organisation of Iran, previously carried out attacks against the Shah's government and American targets. Its leadership is currently exiled in Paris.
