Iran: State Bank Sepah Data Center Attacked

The data center of Iran's state-owned Sepah Bank was attacked in Tehran on Wednesday. According to the Jerusalem Post, the bank is largely responsible for paying the salaries of the Iranian army and Revolutionary Guards.
The attack took place while the bank was processing salary payments, causing a disruption. This will prevent the bank from making immediate salary payments and force it to find alternative solutions.
On Tuesday, Bank Sepah and another state-owned bank, Bank Melli, suffered cyberattacks, resulting in the disruption of online banking services.
Attacks on infrastructure of this kind may cause social disruption.
