Iran: Funerals for Senior Officials and Scientists to be Held on Saturday

National funerals for senior officials and scientists killed during the war with Israel will be held on Saturday in Iran, according to Iranian state media.
A ceasefire between the two countries took effect on Tuesday. The funerals will begin at 08:00 AM (local time, 17:30 Greek time) in Tehran, as reported by Irna news agency.
Additionally, the funeral of Hossein Salami, head of the Revolutionary Guards, who was killed on the first day of the war, will be held on Thursday in central Iran.
Israel attacked Iran on June 13, aiming to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. According to the Iranian Ministry of Health, at least 610 people were killed and over 4,700 were injured among civilians. Israeli authorities reported that 28 people were killed by Iranian strikes against Israel.
