Iran: Funerals Held for Officers, Scientists Killed in War with Israel

Public funerals began today in Iran for approximately 60 high-ranking officers and nuclear scientists killed in the war with Israel. The ceremony takes place on the fourth day of a fragile ceasefire.
State television broadcast images from Tehran, where crowds held Iranian flags and photographs of the victims. Yesterday, US President Donald Trump stated that the US would launch new strikes against Iran if it continues its uranium enrichment program.
Reportedly, the US bombed three nuclear facilities in Iran on June 21-22, supporting the Israeli attack on June 13. Senior officers and nuclear scientists were killed in the bombings.
Mohsen Mahmoudi, a religious official, called the day "historic." Iranian media broadcast images from the ceremonies, with coffins draped in Iranian flags.
