Israel Recalls Negotiation Team After Hamas' Ceasefire Response

Israel's negotiation team for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has been recalled to Tel Aviv for consultations, according to a statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office. This development follows Hamas' response to the ceasefire proposal.
A source close to the Palestinian organization stated that there is still hope for an agreement, but the process is delayed due to Israel's stalling. Hamas is requesting the continuation of negotiations even after the end of a two-month period, without a resumption of hostilities, and rejects the role of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that eight soldiers were injured in a car ramming terror attack near Kfar Yona, north of Tel Aviv. Police are conducting a manhunt for the perpetrator.
