Israel: Shin Bet Foils Assassination Plot Against Minister Ben-Gvir

The Israeli Internal Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced that it had foiled an assassination plot against National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and arrested members of a Hamas cell.
The planned Hamas attack would have involved the use of explosive drones. Members of a Hamas cell from the Hebron area in the Israeli-occupied West Bank were arrested and drones were confiscated.
The agency believes the group operated a Hamas headquarters in Turkey with the aim of carrying out a deadly attack against Ben-Gvir. An investigation is underway.
The Israeli minister said he would not be discouraged or intimidated, adding that Hamas had already tried to assassinate him five times.
