Israel: IDF Announces Elimination of 15 Hezbollah Members

The Israeli army (IDF) announced that it has eliminated 15 members of Hezbollah since the beginning of November. The Israeli Air Force has carried out a series of strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah positions.
In a statement, the army said that Israel has escalated its attacks on Lebanon, accusing the organization of rearming. Strikes targeted mountainous areas of the Nabatieh region and the Anti-Lebanon mountain range.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, one person was killed in an Israeli strike while in a car on the coastal road of southern Lebanon, near Baysariyah. The Israeli army reported that it had eliminated a man who was smuggling weapons for Hezbollah.
Despite the November 2024 ceasefire, Israel continues to attack Hezbollah, accusing it of seeking to rebuild its military capabilities. An American delegation is in Beirut to urge the Lebanese authorities to step up efforts to dry up Hezbollah's sources of funding.
