Israel: Arrests After Soldiers Attacked in West Bank

Six citizens were arrested in Israel for attacking soldiers in the central part of the occupied West Bank. The arrests occurred near a village where Israeli settlers carried out an attack, resulting in the death of three Palestinians on Wednesday night.

According to the Palestinian Authority, dozens of Israeli citizens verbally and physically assaulted the soldiers, throwing stones, upon the arrival of security forces in a closed military zone.

The Israeli Minister of Defense condemned the violent acts and called for all those involved to be identified and brought to justice.
