Israel: 8 Soldiers Injured in Car Ramming 'Terror Attack'

Eight Israeli soldiers were injured when a car rammed into a bus stop in central Israel. Police have described the incident as a "terror attack".
According to the Israeli army, two soldiers sustained moderate injuries and six sustained light injuries at the Beit Lid junction, north of Tel Aviv. An eyewitness, Kineret Hanuka, described the injured lying on the ground, covered in blood.
Police are conducting a manhunt to locate the driver of the vehicle. Police spokesman Dean Elsdun confirmed that it was a terror attack.
The Israeli first aid service MDA transported the injured to hospitals. The French embassy in Israel condemned the attack.
This incident comes at a time of increased violence in Israel and the occupied West Bank, following the outbreak of war in Gaza.
