Israel Raises Alert Level Following US Operation

Israel has raised its alert level throughout its territory, restricting activities to only 'essential' ones, following a recent US operation.

According to an army announcement, the decision was made after an assessment of the situation and with the approval of Defense Minister Israel Katz.

As of 03:45 (local time and Cyprus time) on Sunday, all areas of the country are moving to an 'essential activity' level, replacing the previous 'partial' or 'limited activity' level.

The measures include a ban on educational activities, gatherings, and workplace activities, with the exception of sectors deemed essential.
