Israeli Tanks Advance in Gaza, Concerns Rise for Trapped Civilians

Israeli tanks are advancing deeper into residential areas of Gaza City, as local health authorities express their inability to respond to the increasing calls for help. Eyewitnesses report that tanks have intensified their raids in the neighborhoods of Sabra, Tel Al-Hawa, Sheikh Radwan, and Al-Naser, approaching the city center.
Hamas reports that it has not received any new proposals from negotiators. US President Donald Trump is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
Egypt, which is mediating between Israel and Hamas, will host US Ambassador Mike Huckabee for talks with Egyptian officials. Gaza's emergency services report that Israel rejected 73 requests to rescue injured Palestinians. The Israeli military announced that its forces are expanding operations in the city.
According to the Israeli military, the air force struck 140 military targets in Gaza.
