Intense Israeli Bombardment in Gaza City: Crisis Deepens

Intense Israeli bombardments have struck Gaza City, according to resident testimonies, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with his ministers to discuss plans to seize the city. The Israeli army has called up 60,000 reservists, despite international reactions.
A proposal for a 60-day ceasefire, accepted by Hamas, is on the table, providing for the release of 10 living hostages and the handover of 18 bodies, in exchange for the release of 200 Palestinian prisoners by Israel. The Israeli government insists on the simultaneous release of all 50 hostages.
Gaza residents staged a protest against the war, with slogans such as "Save Gaza, Enough". The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that at least 70 people have been killed in Israeli raids in the last 24 hours.
The plan to seize Gaza City has been approved by the Security Council, despite warnings from allies. Thousands of Palestinians have fled their homes due to the bombings. Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee said the army is warning medical and international organizations about a possible evacuation of residents.
An official from the Gaza Ministry of Health stated that there is no intention to evacuate hospitals. The ministry also announced that two more people have died of starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total to 271.
