Lebanon: One Million Displaced by Israel-Hezbollah Hostilities

Over one million people have been displaced in Lebanon following the outbreak of renewed hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. According to the Lebanese government, 1,049,328 people have registered as displaced on the Ministry of Social Affairs website.
Of these, 132,742 are being hosted in over 600 reception centers, according to the disaster management service.
Hezbollah announced that it targeted Israeli positions and vehicles in various locations near the border, including Aitaroun, Odaisseh, and Taibeh. The attacks were carried out with rockets and shells.
These actions come after reports that Israel has launched limited ground operations in southern Lebanon.
