Lebanon: Five Killed in Israeli Raids on Hezbollah Positions

At least five people have been killed and five others injured in Israeli raids in northeastern Lebanon, according to the country's Ministry of Health.
The Lebanese news agency Ani reported at least seven raids near the border with Syria. Avichay Adraee, the Arabic-speaking spokesman for the Israeli army, stated that Israeli aircraft targeted multiple Hezbollah positions, including positions of the Radwan force.
The raids come after Lebanon announced that its army would implement a plan to disarm Hezbollah. Despite the ceasefire of November 27, 2024, Israel maintains troops in border positions and conducts regular raids against Hezbollah.
Israel claims it targeted Hezbollah positions in the Bekaa and Hermel regions.
