Middle East: Flight Cancellations and Airport Chaos

Thousands of travelers are stranded at Middle Eastern airports as Israel, Qatar, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain have closed their airspace following recent attacks.
More than 3,400 flights have been canceled at seven airports in the region, according to FlightRadar24. Airlines have suspended flights, resulting in no flight activity recorded over the United Arab Emirates.
Emirates, Air France, Lufthansa, Swiss, British Airways, Norwegian, and Turkish Airlines have announced cancellations and suspensions of flights to Middle Eastern destinations. Air India has suspended all flights to the region, while Russia has suspended flights to Iran and Israel until further notice. ITA Airways has suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 7.
