Middle East: Greek Sailors in Danger – Video of Missiles Nearby

A video published on e-nautilia.gr shows dramatic moments experienced by Greek sailors in the Persian Gulf, amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East. In the video, sailors are heard expressing their anxiety as missiles and drones fall close to their ship. The authenticity and timing of the video are under investigation.
Reportedly, approximately 150 Greek-owned ships are in the area, with the Strait of Hormuz being closed.
The Minister of Maritime Affairs, Vasilis Kikilias, stated that 10 Greek ships with 85 Greek sailors are inside the Persian Gulf and 5 outside. In total, 325 ships linked to Greece are in the wider region. Mr. Kikilias assured that there is continuous communication with the sailors and that the Ministry remains vigilant.
