Middle East: Ongoing Clashes and Attacks

Lebanon's Hezbollah organization announced clashes with Israeli soldiers in the town of Khiam, near the border with Israel. According to the announcement, Hezbollah fighters detonated an explosive device against an Israeli unit.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 14 attacks on Israeli army positions. Explosions were reported in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Haifa. The Israeli army spoke of Iranian missile launches and unmanned aerial vehicles from Lebanon.
UNICEF reports that nearly 60,000 people, including 18,000 children, have been displaced in Lebanon in the last 24 hours as Israel strikes targets in the country. Seven children have been killed and 38 injured, according to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
