N. Christodoulides: Hopes for Initiative to End Hostilities in the Middle East

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, expressed hope for an initiative to end hostilities in the Middle East. The statement was made on Friday evening during an ENP event in Ayia Napa.

Responding to questions about the crisis, President Christodoulides stressed that they are monitoring developments and hope for an initiative to end the difficult situation and return to normality.

The statements were made before the President's address at the Gala Dinner of the Association "Enosis Neon Paralimniou", on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of its founding.
