Palestinian Embassy Condemns Construction of Units in E. Jerusalem

The Palestinian Embassy in Cyprus condemns Israel's decision to announce tenders for the construction of thousands of new settlement units in East Jerusalem. It calls on the international community to take immediate and decisive action, including the imposition of sanctions.

In a statement, the Embassy argues that this is a dangerous escalation aimed at preventing the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. It states that these actions constitute the implementation of Benjamin Netanyahu's statements and Israel's expansionist plans.

The Embassy calls on the international community to stop the implementation of these plans and to guarantee the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
