Rubio Urges Syria to Prevent Arrival of Jihadists in the South

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called on the Syrian government to prevent the arrival of "violent jihadists" in southern Syria, following recent ethnic clashes between Druze and Bedouins.
In a post on X, Marco Rubio stressed that if the authorities in Damascus desire a unified and peaceful Syria, they must prevent ISIS and other jihadists from entering the region. He also called for those guilty of atrocities to be brought to justice.
