PAME Rally Against Iran Bombing Today in Syntagma Square

PAME is organizing a protest rally today, Monday, June 23rd at 7:30 p.m., in Syntagma Square, against the bombing of Iran by the USA.
Pre-rallies are planned at three locations in Athens: Kaniggos Square for private and public sector unions, Omonia Square for professional, artisan, retiree, and women's organizations, and Propylaea for education workers, student associations, and higher education employees.
Similar mobilizations have been announced in Thessaloniki, Patras, Larissa, Heraklion, Rethymno, Ioannina, Chania, Kalamata, Agrinio, Corfu, and other cities. Local labor centers, peace committees, and municipalities are calling for rallies and marches.
In Patras, the rally will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Georgiou Square, organized by the Patras Labor Center, the Patras and Western Achaia Peace Committee, and the municipal authority, concluding at the port. Similar rallies will be held at the same time in Agrinio, in the central square, and in other cities.
PAME demands Greece's withdrawal from any military involvement with the USA and Israel, the closure of US-NATO bases, and the recognition of the Palestinian state.
Dozens of unions and organizations have responded to the call, including the Federations of Builders, Private Employees, Artisan Associations, as well as unions from hospitals, municipalities, schools, and the banking sector.
