Erdogan and Trump to Meet in The Hague on the Sidelines of NATO Summit

According to Bloomberg, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Donald Trump are scheduled to meet tonight in The Hague, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit.

The meeting, as reported by the news agency, is scheduled for 23:30 Greek time (22:30 Dutch time).

This will be the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders following Donald Trump's re-election as President of the United States.

Diplomatic circles, according to Bloomberg, characterize the meeting as an attempt to "reset" bilateral relations, which have been strained due to disagreements such as the issue of Syria, Turkey's purchase of the S-400 system, and its expulsion from the F-35 program.
