Syria: Mosque Explosion in Homs Kills Three

An explosion at a mosque in an Alawite neighborhood in Syria's Homs province killed three people and injured five on Friday, according to Reuters.

State media reported that security forces have cordoned off the area and are conducting an investigation.

Local officials told Reuters that the explosion may have been caused by a suicide bomber or explosives planted at the scene.
