The United Arab Emirates (UAE) reportedly struck an Iranian desalination plant on Sunday, according to a source cited by The Jerusalem Post. This would mark the UAE's first attack on Iran within the context of regional escalation.

On the same day, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that the death toll from Iranian attacks in the country had risen to four.
